The candidate's "score" is a relative number, used to illustrate how much more/less potential the candidate has than the average candidate (0 represents the average). The ranking also shows how many variables each person had in common with the Model of Excellence. Green variables are matches, orange are just outside the model, red are definite mismatches, and grey variables are inconclusive. A real version of the report would include links to the details behind the scores.
